The team R3D3 won the Bitstamp challenge. Members of the team were Črtomir Majer (Institute of Informatics employee, former ITK master’s student), Lovro Mažgon (former ITK master’s student) Klemen Forstnerič (RIT student) and Slavica Šuman (MK master’s student). Their solution BitBot can predict the value of Bitcoin and can execute automatic trading between the US dollar and Bitcoin in order to make a profit.
