The Definition of Standard Procedures for the Development of Military Information Systems

The project goal was to develop a specific software process model for developing solutions under the command and control domain. The command and control domain requires standard, well-defined software development process models with a high-level of monitoring and project governance. As a result, an adaptable software process model was developed that enables the monitoring of technical activities within the development of defense information systems. The process model is based on well-known process frameworks and agile principles with a built-in decision model. The decision model is aimed at suggesting the appropriate software development process model based on a project’s characteristics. The solution has web-based information support that enables easy updates and upgrades.
