Project summary
DUAL.AI.TEACH is an innovative Erasmus+ initiative aimed at strengthening teachers’ competences for using artificial intelligence in teaching and for teaching about artificial intelligence. The project addresses the lack of AI literacy among teachers through the development of five international Teacher Academies, an interactive AI platform with more than 15 training modules and 50+ lesson plans, and a certified teacher competence framework. More than 500 teachers will participate in mobility and training activities, while more than 4,000 students will take part in classroom pilot activities. The project supports the objectives of the Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027 and promotes innovation, inclusion, and the digital transformation of European education through the ethical and effective use of AI.
Role of FERI in the project:
UM FERI participates in the development of the AI learning platform within work package WP3. In addition, it contributes to the research, pilot, and dissemination activities of the project, as well as to the development of teacher competence certification in the field of AI.
