From March 10 to 14, 2025, third-year students of the Informatics and Data Technologies program, along with two members of the Institute of Informatics, took part in the Blended Intensive Program: “Digital Transformation – Artificial Intelligence as a Key Enabler of Digital Transformation”. The program included several online lectures held in February and continued in March with hands-on workshops and project-based work in person at Portalegre Polytechnic University in Portugal.
The event brought together students and professors from Slovenia, Greece, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal, who collaborated to explore and develop innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence tools. Working in international teams, students designed and presented conceptual solutions for various sectors, such as tourism, culture, agronomy, and other industries.
The program provided a unique opportunity for international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and skill development through interdisciplinary teamwork. A total of 43 students from 7 different countries and 11 professors participated in the event, contributing their expertise to the successful execution of the program.
