Best Paper Award Highlights the Successful Conclusion of the Erasmus+ SET4Inclusion Project

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the fourth and final transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ SET4Inclusion project partners took place in Maribor, organized by the project consortium coordinator, UM FERI. The meeting focused on finalizing key project activities, with particular emphasis on preparing a sustainability and exploitation plan to ensure the continued use of the project’s outcomes.

The following day, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the SET4Inclusion partners visited the Jožef Stefan Institute and participated in the DIGIN Conference (https://digin.um.si/). As members of the program committee, we organized two sessions, where we and the project partners presented papers based on the outcomes of the SET4Inclusion initiative. The papers presented were:

  1. Definition of a Framework for a Self-Evaluation Tool: Optimizing Evaluation Practices for Enhanced Performance in Higher Education Institutions
  2. Introducing a Solution: The Self-Evaluation Tool in Practice
  3. Analysis of the Self-Evaluation Tool: A Pilot Study
  4. A Micro-Learning Units Package for Improving Inclusive Digital Education in Higher Education Institutions
  5. Good Practices in Creating an Inclusive Environment in Higher Education Institutions

We are excited to announce that our paper, “Definition of a Framework for a Self-Evaluation Tool: Optimizing Evaluation Practices for Enhanced Performance in Higher Education Institutions,” developed in collaboration with all project partners, was awarded Best Paper at the conference.

The award was presented by Professor Matjaž Debevc, National Expert to AccessibleEU and ICT accessibility consultant (delegation to ITU) at G3ict – The Global Initiative for Inclusive ICTs, and a member of the Expert Group on Accessibility for the World Federation of the Deaf.
